  • Burn time varies by candle size, but most of our candles burn for 35-45 hours when properly cared for.

  • Our candles are hand-poured in small batches using 100% soy wax, cotton wicks, and premium fragrance oils.

  • For best results:

    • Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each burn

    • Allow the wax to melt fully across the surface on the first burn

    • Never burn longer than 4 hours at a time

  • Yes. Every candle includes a discreet QR code on the label that leads to a curated literary discovery inspired by that scent.

  • Orders typically ship within 3–5 business days. You’ll receive tracking information once your order is on its way.

  • Because candles are a consumable product, we’re unable to accept returns.
    If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us and we’ll make it right.

  • Yes. All Bookshelf Candle Company candles are hand-poured in Omaha, Nebraska.
